CaregiverU is a collaboration of 25 Central Texas non-profit agencies and community organizations, joining together to bring support and resources to families that are caring for an older loved one.
Classes are offered at no cost to participants. They are offered multiple times throughout the year at various locations in the Central Texas area, depending on which agency is hosting and teaching the course.
CaregiverU is excited to offer three different courses:
- Powerful Tools for Caregivers:
A six-week course that provides emotional support for family caregivers. Classes offered in Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock, Dripping Springs, Bastrop, and San Marcos. Click here for the current schedule.
- A Matter of Balance: A fall prevention program to reduce the risk of devastating falls in older adults, and to help seniors develop an active, healthy lifestyle.
